Profile
Inwood has worked a range of topics in ancient philosophy, especially the Presocratics (notably Empedocles) and Stoicism (most recently Seneca). He has been a fellow at the National Humanities Centre (North Carolina) and the Centre for Advanced Study in the Behavioural Sciences (California) and a Distinguished Visitor at Christ’s College, Cambridge. He is currently the editor of Oxford Studies in Ancient Philosophy.
